Her journey began at the age of 12, working alongside her mother in the family salon, where she developed an early appreciation for the power of beauty, confidence, and exceptional client care. Throughout high school and college, she refined her skills while cultivating the foundation of what would become a distinguished career in the beauty industry.

In 2005, Shalonda earned her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from High Point University and went on to establish a successful career in federal service. She served as an Investigator before advancing to an Intelligence Analyst role with the Department of Justice. Despite her accomplishments in government, her passion for beauty never wavered. While working full-time in the federal sector, she continued to serve clients part-time, meticulously building her reputation as a trusted beauty professional and expanding her expertise behind the chair.

In 2015, Shalonda made the decision to fully pursue her calling in the beauty industry, obtaining her cosmetology license and dedicating herself to delivering an elevated luxury beauty experience. Today, she is recognized throughout Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia for her exceptional craftsmanship, professionalism, and commitment to healthy hair care.

With more than two decades of hands-on experience and advanced education from some of the industry's most respected professionals, Shalonda specializes in luxury hair extensions, healthy hair restoration, scalp care, and customized beauty solutions.
